Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Merchandise Revealed!
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at the Disney Parks this this year, and as collectors we are both dreading and looking forward to all of the merchandise that we will be able to pick up there. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we now have an idea of some of the things that will be available, and spoiler: it is a lot. From apparel to plush items, high-end busts to lightsabers, there really is something for everyone at every price range. Best of all: all eras and corners of the Star Wars saga are represented as well. Let's take a look at what has been revealed.
Some of the main items are two different lines of plush, Disney Parks mainstays. Creatures like the ones in the first pick and then artisan-type dolls like the second pick will be available in the Batuu shops. Keeping with the immersive theme of the land itself, they are supposed to look like something a character in the Star Wars universe themselves could actually buy. Even instruments popular in Star Wars lore will be available.
Clothing will be a huge part as well, as Galaxy's Edge will be the only area of the parks where costumes are not only allowed, but encouraged. Jedi robes, First Order uniforms, Droid Tech outfits. There will be so many options that it will make your head spin.
High-end merch and props will be available, from busts of famous Jedi and Sith to artifacts from both the light and the dark side of the Force, bringing a balance to your collection.
To me, I am most excited about the customizable merch that will be available. Holocrons that come with kyber crystals that can be inserted inside, buildable lightsabers that also will see you inserting the kyber into them, and buildable, customizable droids that work as speakers and such will all be some of the most sought-after in the park.
What are YOU most excited to add to your collections? Which park will you try to get into: Disneyland in the summer or Disney World in the fall? Let us know below!
