Luis Rojas, A Lex Luthor For Jon Kent In His Final Issue (Spoilers)
Today sees the final issue of the Superman: Son Of Kal-El #18 before its relaunch as Jon Kent: The Adventures Of Superman in 2023. The son of Lois Lane and Clark Kent and – with his father, will be regaining their secret identities courtesy of Project Blackout, in Action Comics #1050. You can see some major spoilers about that here and here, but the opening of the issue confirms some of what we had gossiped about. A protective dome for the Kent family home which will (SPOILERS here and here) come in very useful later this month.
But Jonathan Kent has another cause of concern, the one who has been making such grief in recent months, Luis Rojas. Who has his own particular beef with anyone vaguely super, but especially Jon Kent.
Never read the Superman comments board, Jon. It's not good for your super health. And he has the death of his parents to bring into the equation as well.
Every good superhero needs the big baddie associated with their name, with a personal vendetta to enact and now, Jon Kent has his.
Great for sales! But if you thought Luis Rojas' arguments against the existence of any Superman was familiar, well, so does someone else.
And has claimed him as his own. Just no one tell Alexander Luthor, Lex Luthor Jr, Lena Luthor, or any of the other offspring of Lex Luthor over the years and the various different reboots and realities.
And recruiting his "son" into his new army of those looking to take down the Superpeople forever, Project Blackout. You did click those Super Spoilers above, yes?
Project Blackout is coming, and this is what Bleeding Cool has worked out about it all..
