Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Josh Gad To Star In Pixels, With Chris Columbus To Direct
Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Josh Gad will be teaming up to save New York City from your favorite childhood video games in Pixels, the big budget feature length adaptation based on a 2010 short film. Sandler is attached to the lead role, while Gad and James are in early talks to join him.
THR also reports that Chris Columbus has signed on to direct the live action film which will see 8-bit video games come to life and mount an attack on New York City. According to the short film on which this will be based, this includes Pac-Man eating up subway stations, Tetris sitting on and obliterating skyscrapers and other cool stuff.
