Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing Out In September
It's a new year, which means there will be a new Skylanders gimmick. And that is alright in my book. I actually really enjoy the franchise and seeing Activision adding a new element to the series each year keeps things fresh.
This year, the new spin is all about vehicles, bringing the cute cast of characters to land, air and water. The game, called Skylanders: SuperChargers was announced in this trailer here:

There will be 20 vehicles and every existing Skylander will be compatible with them. You also won't need a new portal as the game works with existing hardware. That all sounds like a sweet deal to me and makes sure the cost of Skylander isn't bursting at the seams.
The game will launch on Setember 25th on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and Wii U.
