The current arc of The Goon, "Occasion of Revenge", by Eric Powell, has been quite a show-stopper as things get very dark indeed. The Goon is facing off against the circling forces of "The Coven" as they try to get a final grip on the cursed souls The Goon holds in his protection. While their forces have been rising, we've heard many a tale of revenge past and present, and come to understand its motivating, and damning power in the lives of many well-known characters.

But what's it all leading up to? Here in the fourth issue that concludes the arc, Powell has promised events that will change The Goon forever. This arc will be followed in February by "Once Upon a Hard Time", the conclusion of this storyline, and a conclusion that in many ways draws to a close 15 years of The Goon.
