The Road to War of the Realms Begins in February, Marvel's Biggest Event Ever

Marvel's February solicitations have just come out, featuring the beginning of the Road to War of the Realms in Thor #10 by Jason Aaron and Mike Del Mundo. Building for years as part of Aaron's various runs on various Thor books, Marvel finally made things official earlier this month, and they've gone all in, comparing the event to Secret Wars except even bigger, promising it would be "an event of unparalleled scale" and featuring "all of Marvel's biggest heroes," leaving "no corner of the Marvel Universe untouched."

It looks like War of the Realms will be pretty much unavoidable, and you know what they say: if you can't beat 'em, join 'em! So you might as well get on board now and start picking up Thor, if you aren't already.

ALL-FATHER ODIN, FATHER OF RUIN! ROAD TO THE WAR OF THE REALMS!
For months, the realms have burned with the flames of Malekith's war, while Almighty Odin did nothing. Now Asgardia is lost in the sun, the Rainbow Bridge is shattered and the All-Father sits alone in the empty ruins of Old Asgard, drunk on mead and despair. If Odin is going to save what's left of the realms, he'll have to undertake the most difficult labor of his very long life. Not by being the omnipotent All-Father, but by finally being just a father to the mighty Thor.
