Steven Universe Gets A Graphic Novel This December
Some fun news for fans of Steven Universe! As part of its ramp-up to San Diego Comic-Con, KaBOOM!, an award-winning imprint of BOOM! Studios, and Cartoon Network Enterprises, the licensing and merchandising arm of the network, are pleased to announce the first Steven Universe original graphic novel Steven Universe: Too Cool for School, featuring Steven, Connie, and the Gems in an all new, full-length adventure. Written by Jeremy Sorese, with art by Coleman Engle, Steven Universe: Too Cool for School, will explore what happens when Steven joins Connie at school. Supervising Director Ian Jones-Quarterly will also be part of the creative team working on the graphic novel.
The more and more I hear about this character, the more I want to read. I just want to take a moment to be in awe with you over the cover designed by Rosemary Valero-O'Connell. What a fun, picturesque style. Steven Universe: Too Cool for School, will arrive in comic shops this December.
