Tony Stark and Emma Frost got married last year in the Marvel comic books. Kinda. It was a Vegas wedding, Emma Frost was using her human secret identity, and it was all pretty much a scam to get Feilong of Orchis off their backs. Marvel went to town with a big Wedding Promotional splash however, with scenes of an all-superhero wedding ceremony that never actually happened.

Because it was basically a marriage of convenience. Emma Frost had already signed papers to make The Kingpin, Wilson Fisk, the new White King of the Hellfire Club. But it was her own business interests that funded the Krakoan economy, and she is a mutant and banned from the USA. Tony Stark remained an American citizen. It was a marriage of economics, or convenience, arranged for property and legal reasons. Otherwise known as a traditional marriage.

But traditional marriages can sometimes have their new-fangled perks. And in tomorrow's Fall Of X tie-in, Invincible Iron Man #14 by Gerry Duggan and Andrea DiVito. And in tomorrow's Invincible Iron Man #14, Emma and Tony get to discover some of them,

I have to say, when you come down to it, they do rather seem to be made for each other. Whether a diamond skin or an iron skin, a Frost/Stark union could prove quite a thing for the Marvel Universe. Tony Stark designing new technology, and Emma Frost always knowing what the competition are planning. Will this relationship survive the fall of the Krakoan Age of X-Men, or will it be exploited to the full by Tom Brevoort's gang? Not long to find out…

I get the feeling the pre-nup must have been quite lengthy.
