When Diane Nelson Spoke To Katie Jones About Sexual Assault

After seeing planned Bleeding Cool coverage, DC Comics representatives contacted Jones. Later, DC President Diane Nelson would issue a statement to DC staffers. I asked Jones if there had been any update on the situation.
She told me,
"Though, as of protection of both parties, I don't want to disclose anything what was talked about. I will say this though, the company has wonderful staff who treated me with great validation and professionalism. The people who talked to me couldn't have been more of a godsend. Never in my life have I ever felt so validated and thankful. The fact that the company listened to what I had to say was clarification enough. I also was given the opportunity to directly speak with Diane Nelson, who is also a wonderful person. The fact that I was honest, upfront, and professional myself helped everything to where it stands today. It was also amazing having so many people giving me support in the background. Giving me the courage to stand up for not only myself, but for people who have had anything like this happen to them. Thank you again Richard for being part of that support. You have no idea how much that means to me."
