Just can't wait to get your hands (or maybe paws?) on Animal Crossing: New Horizons? You're in luck, because there's new footage floating around today, courtesy of Isabelle herself! The official Animal Crossing Twitter account posted a brief look at the game, which builds a bit on top of the multiplayer gameplay trailer back during September's Nintendo Direct.

The Deserted Island Getaway Package features a vast tropical island for players to spend time on. It's basically a new Tom Nook tank, but don't focus on that for too long. You'll get to spend tons of time on the island reaping resources from the trees and rivers, then you can build your own place to rest your head.

The lush desert island life will feature co-op for up to four players locally and eight online. You may have to abandon Stardew Valley for it. I'm sorry, that's the only way. There's only room in the world for just one farming/relaxation sim, and Animal Crossing is returning to be the reigning champion on Switch.

Understandably, checking out this new clip probably makes the wait for Animal Crossing: New Horizons that much more difficult. It's been so long since we've had one of these bad boys, and it's about time to jump right in again. We don't want to get our hopes up, but this entry does look like the best one yet.
