Bard's Tale IV Gets A New Gameplay Trailer
The Bard's Tale IV from inXile Entertainment, the developer of Wasteland 2, just got itself a brand new trailer featuring exploration and combat gameplay. The Bard's Tale was a successful kickstarter campaign back in 2015, which gives it a relatively quick turnaround time.
The trailer shows off some of the game's first person exploration, snarky dialogue, and the combat engine. The game is pretty damn gorgeous although the chat window is a bit silly overlaid on the fantasy backdrop. The battle system does not break the first person exploration view at all, which makes for seamless gameplay. The battle system runs in phases but isn't the most clunky turn-based system.
The Bard's Tale IV launches for PC in October 2017. You can check out the original Kickstarter page for more details on the game.
