Battlesloths 2025: The Great Pizza Wars Is Free To Play This Weekend

Battlesloths 2025: The Great Pizza Wars is free to play now through Sunday, July 9 at 4PM PDT / 6PM CDT. In addition, the game will be 33% off on Steam this weekend until midnight on Sunday, July 16thBattlesloths 2025: The Great Pizza Wars is also being featured in a massive tournament this weekend during RTX 2017, Texas' largest celebration of gaming, animation, and internet culture and Internet.

Battlesloths 2025: The Great Pizza Wars Is Free To Play This Weekend

Rooster Teeth Games is hosting a three day-long, multiple sessions, 16-person BattleSloths 2025: The Great Pizza Wars Tournament during RTX Austin 2017, Texas' largest celebration of gaming, animation, and internet culture.  The winner will then compete in the Battlesloths Pro-Am doubles tournament on the last day of the event.  

Along with Battlesloths t-shirts and bragging rights, Nvidia will be providing prizes such as Nvidia 1060 video cards to the winners.

The Battlesloths Tournament begins on Friday, July 7 at 1:00pm at the Rooster Teeth Games booth on the RTX Austin main exhibition floor at the Austin Convention Center.

The Battlesloths Pro-Am Doubles Tournament is on Sunday, July 9th at 12:30pm at the Center Stage. Only winners from the Friday and Saturday events will have a chance to participate in the Sunday event.

The Battlesloths Tournament is open to all attendees ages 13 and up.  Players under age 18 will need to have a legal guardian with them to claim their prizes.  Tournament signups will be at the Rooster Teeth Games' booth right before the start times for the Friday and Saturday floor events. First come, first serve.

Winners from the Friday and Saturday tournaments have a chance to be entered into the Pro-AM doubles tourney and paired with one personality including:

  • Cristian "Skull" Ames (JT Machinima)
  • Lawrence Sonntag (FunHaus)
  • Brandon Farmahini (Rooster Teeth)
  • Adam Ellis (Rooster Teeth)
