Black Desert Console Launches New Update For The New Year

Black Desert Console owners have a new event to kick off the new year, as you get to choose one of the three dream horses for your account.

Pearl Abyss launched a new event for Black Desert Console, as players can snag one of the three dream horses for their account. Previously released for the PC version, players can choose between one of the three mythic creatures to add to their account, giving them the mount of their dreams. Well, at least one of your dreams, no matter how majestic or demonic they may be. We have more details for you below as this will run for the next few weeks.

Black Desert Console – Dream Horses

Adventurers can choose one of the three Dream Horses, the flying Arduanatt, the speedy Diné, or the fiery Doom. Those who already have Dream Horses can opt into 5 Mythical Censers for a chance to awaken a mythical Dream Horse (a higher tier Dream Horse). Players touting character level above 56 can log in and receive Vell's Heart, an alchemy stone packing highly condensed magic. When equipped, the item adds an Attack Power (AP) of +3 on gear score. In addition to its innate Attack, activating Vell's Heart alchemy stone bolsters player stats by additional AP+8, all accuracy +10, ignores all resistance +5%, and Attack/Casting Speed +5%.

Players can also claim the TET Blackstar Weaponry, which is considered one of the "best in slot" gear items, especially for PvE content. Obtainable through individual questlines, this end-game gear is available for all classes with slight variations. For instance, Warrior players can choose between TET Blackstar Longsword, TET Blackstar Great Sword, or TET Blackstar Shield. If players do not need any of the three Blackstar Weapons, they also have the option to choose 10x Dim Origin of Dark Hunger, a highly valued enhancement material, as an alternative reward. Blackstar Weapons for each class contain their own unique enhancement materials and can't be enhanced with Caphras Stones. This Weaponry is available for players whose character level is 61 or above, provided they have successfully completed one of the required questlines.

The Vipiko's Dreaming Horse item, Vell's Heart, and TET Blackstar Weapons are available through the game's Challenge Menu. Last but not least, Pearl Abyss' development team is handing out even more advantages for those jumping in today. Under the category of "Season Improvements", players will see easier and more simplified enhancements and a New Season Creation Ticket. These come along with previously offered location updates such as Calpheon Elvia and Gyfin Underground.
