Blizzard Is Now Offering Refunds For "Warcraft III: Reforged"
After several user complaints from launch until now, Blizzard is finally offering refunds to players for Warcraft III: Reforged. The past week or so on the Blizzard forums has been a series of complaints about the company not fulfilling promises on the game, having lagging servers, disconnections, long wait times, and a bad representation of the original game. Overall, the consensus is that it was an unsatisfying product. Which led people to demand a refund on the game. This week, Blizzard gave it to them with a short message to the players.
Blizzard stands by the quality of our products and our services. Normally we set limits for refund availability on a game, based on time since purchase and whether it has been used. However we want to give players the option of a refund if they feel that Warcraft III: Reforged does not provide the experience they wanted. So, we've decided to allow refunds upon request for the time being. You may request a refund here on our Support Site.
Yes, that's correct, if you're truly unsatisfied with the game, you can request a refund through that link. When you'll be refunded is unknown at the moment, we're guessing Blizzard is taking stock of how bad this issue is. But it is disappointing that after such a long wait, Warcraft III: Reforged was not what they promised.
