Brittany's Most Anticipated Games of 2020: Resident Evil 3 — Credit: Capcom

What is there to say about Resident Evil 3 that hasn't already been said? It's going to be one hell of a remake.

We already saw exactly what Capcom was capable of with Resident Evil 2, and seeing the same treatment given to the next game in the series is what fans of all stripes have been waiting for all this time. The original Resident Evil already had its time in the sun back on the GameCube, and it was a shock that we got Resident Evil 2's fantastic remake.

To see Resident Evil 3: Nemesis back and in such high quality is a dream come true after growing up with the seminal series. While I have my concerns about Jill's design (namely her model's face, which looks a bit off), I'm thrilled beyond belief that this is a journey I'll be able to take for the first time – again!

My only hope is that it ends up performing well so we'll continue seeing additional remakes coming down the pipelines. The next logical installment would be Code: Veronica X, but I'm not completely convinced we won't get a remake of Resident Evil 4 or Resident Evil 5. Can you imagine?

Who's ready to give Nemesis what for when he walks that clumsy butt in and snarls at you? Bring it, Capcom. Everyone's counting on you for this.
