Dataminers Confirm Previous "Mortal Kombat 11" DLC Character List
Today in "we already know this, why is it news" news, dataminers have found more evidence in Mortal Kombat 11 of a DLC character on the way. A brand new post on Reddit shows that hackers have found new audio files in the game related to Fujin, which Warner Bros. was quick to copyright strike so you can't hear the audio file. But basically it was a clip of every match announcer letting you know that "Fujin wins", depending on the level you fight on. Essentially confirming that he will be added to the game, most likely in a second Kombat Pack.
The thing that just makes us groan over this news is that… it's not new. Everyone's been treating it like a big deal today, but the reality is, this news came out six months ago. From another datamine hack, no less. Which showed more characters that have yet to be revealed such as Sheeva (who we saw in MK11) and Ash Williams from Evil Dead. So while it's cool and all to have confirmation, really, at this point it feels like the hackers are just looking for anything they can in hopes they'll find more characters that what they did. And until they do, they're going to release Mortal Kombat 11 files like this when they come along.
