Deckard Funko Dorbz Make Harrison Ford Look Happier Than He Has In Years
Blade Runner 2049 is a movie that I am not sure we needed, but I am damn sure excited about it. The original took me a while to appreciate, but now it is right up there as one of my all-time favorites, with Deckard being an all-time favorite character. So naturally, I am excited about a new wave of Funko products in support of what is sure to be at the very least one of the more visually stunning films of the year.
This series of Dorbz features retired blade
runner Rick Deckard, the new blade runner Officer K,
Neander Wallace, and Sapper!Deckard is limited to 6,500 pieces!
Don't forget to look for the helmeted Sapper
chase variant! A rarity of 1-in-6.
Look how happy Harrison Ford's Deckard looks! I do hate a little that he is limited and will be harder to track down, and to also include a chase (the Sapper) is a little crummy, but they all look great. I'm not sure I want a mini-Jared Leto in my house, but I am a completist, so I guess I have no choice.
In addition, Officer K, Rick Deckard, Joi, Neander Wallace, Luv,
and Sapper all receive the Pop! vinyl treatment. You can also get helmeted Sapper as a chase
variant with a rarity of 1 in 6!
Pop-wise, I am glad they didn't limit Deckard like the Dorbz, or make him exclusive of anything. Overall, these are not the most exciting Pop designs that have ever existed, but again: if I get Deckard (and I will) then I will have to get them all. Hopefully the film meets my expectations and I won't stare at these on my shelf wondering if I made a huge mistake buying them. I am ever hopeful that will not be the case.
Look for these on shelves this October, but really they will start Popping up a little before that, I imagine.
