Grab Some Waffles and Get Ready for D&D: Stranger Things Edition!
Part of Stranger Things success has been in capturing the feeling of the 1980's, and one of the establishing scenes of the Netflix series was showing Mike and his friends playing Dungeons and Dragons in the basement. Anyone who played D&D in the early '80s was instantly transported to that time, and it made those kids that much more relatable. Now, Hasbro Games and Wizards of the Coast are bringing some love back to the show with the Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set.
A lot of long-time role playing gamers have been searching high and low for something, anything, to get their non-gaming friends into RPGs, and this might be the ticket! The starter set includes everything you need to get started with Dungeons and Dragons, but with a Stranger Things twist- there are pre-generated character sheets included that will let players use the characters that the kids played on the show.
