Nintendo Announces Super Mario Maker 2 for the Switch

The first game to make an appearance on the Nintendo Direct feed yesterday was Super Mario Maker 2, announced to be released in June 2019. Building off the already successful version on the Wii U, this one has incorporated more mechanics, enemies, and level options from the Mario universe that people were demanding from the first title. We're guessing based on the date that we'll be getting a look at the game at E3 2019 followed by a proper release within the two weeks following the event. For now, enjoy the trailer!
