Fortnite has just hit the pop-culture spectrum again, most likely solidifying itself and its place in history beyond the tomes of game countdowns and an eventual look-back video from gamers 30 years from now on whatever media platform is being transmitted to your eyes.

Creative Assembly has decided that the difficulty level in Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia could use an upgrade, and are now working toward including it in the next patch for the game.

You may recall the trailer below from the Video Game Awards, as From Software showed off some kind of weird little trailer featuring a bloody rope crank thing made of bones. At least, that's what we think this is, we can't really be sure.

Back when Capcom threw in the Ryu armor for Monster Hunter: World to make yourself look like the Street Fighter character when you equip all the pieces, it was a hunk of junk that did little for you defensively and a lot more for you cosmetically.

This past week, Auroch Digital made the announcement on their website that they would be creating a new space strategy game called Mars Horizon. The game will basically have you lead an a space agency as you start with the race to get people out into space all the way to Mars.

During a panel at Bitsummit in Kyoto, Inti Creates and Artplay announced the 8-bit game Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. This will be a spin-off of Koji Igarashi's Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. In fact, the 8-bit title is part of the Bloodstained Kickstarter campaign's stretch goals.

A cool little piece of news from BitSummit in Kyoto this weekend as developer Inti Creates announced that they would be bringing Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX to the Nintendo Switch, most likely for a 2019 release.

Rockfish Games today released the critically-acclaimed Encounters expansion for Everspace on Xbox One and the Microsoft Store for $ 9.99 USD. The major expansion adds over 10 hours of extra gameplay to the base game.

Netmarble has announced that its new MMO strategy game for mobile devices, Iron Throne, will officially launch on May 16 at 12:00 AM PDT worldwide. Iron Throne was developed by 4Plat and is being published by Netmarble, who hails it as the "next generation MMO strategy game."

For those of you who might be curious as to what might actually be happening with Deus Ex, to the point where you though the series might be dead, fear not! Even though you may not be seeing a game come out in the near future, the series is still alive, according to Eidos Montreal.

Early this morning, BitSummit officially announced the nominees for their 2018 gaming awards, which will take place at the convention on May 13th at the Kyoto International Exhibition Hall in Japan.
