PlayStation Now About To Start Streaming PS4 Games

It appears that Sony wants to take a slight leap forward by making it easier for you to stream current games right from your PS4. On Monday, Sony announced plans to expand their Playstation Now service to include the PS4 library. Currently, you can only stream PS3 games via PS Now, which many believed was more of a proprietary agreement from the company to make sure newer games weren't spoiled on their system.

This goes in line with the shift of focus Sony talked about last month, putting more resources on the PS4 and PC services. There are no real details from this announcement at to a timetable or how the new system will work. Right now the company is looking to do beta testing in the next few weeks for subscribers to check out. The bigger elephant in the room that wasn't addressed was Twitch/YouTube integration, as it's currently a pain to stream a game on both systems without having your bandwidth sapped and causing either service to drop frames, time out or crash. It would be lovely if that little problem could be nipped in the bud, but only time will tell as to how the service will be upgraded in the next month or so.
