​Renegade Game Studios Unveils American Psycho: A Killer Game

Renegade Game Studios revealed a new tabletop addition during GenCon 2022 as we're getting American Psycho: A Killer Game. Probably one of the most interesting announcements to come out of the event, the game will throw you into the middle of the 2000 film as you take on this challenging new card game set in the high-stakes investment banking at Pierce & Pierce. Every decision you make could be a killer, as you play to collect the most while also avoiding becoming a murdering psychopath in the process. But hey, it's yuppie culture, so nothing of value will be lost. In fact, if you happen to rack up the most bodies, you could win the game. The game is up for pre-order for $30 at the link above, set to be released sometime in 2023.

American Psycho: A Killer Game is a trick-taking game that sees players take on the role of faceless investment bankers, leading "meetings" where all players contribute a card, usually of the matching suit. Highest card wins, but watch out, each meeting will have a "killer suit", which beats the leading suit! A scene card drawn for each meeting further complicates things, forcing players to always remain on their toes! In this merciless world of high finance, some players will be forced to draw Murder cards, and eventually those bodies will start to pile up! Bodies are worth negative points, unless you happen to have collected the most, in which case they might actually help you secure your victory!
