Shinya Takahashi Celebrates The Switch's Anniversary With A Video
Nintendo has been doing a couple weird things here and there to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Nintendo Switch being released, and the latest to hit our radar comes in the form of a video from one of their staff. At the bottom, we have a video featuring Shinya Takahashi, who serves as Nintendo's GM for the Entertainment Planning & Development Division, one of the many people who worked on the Switch and was a part of the console's development over the past few years before and after release. Takahashi basically spends about two and a half minutes doing a short Q&A with questions taken from fans.
It is in Japanese, but thankfully, Nintendo translated the video for everyone. There's a few interesting question in here like the most unexpected place they've seen a Switch, what they think of the sales for the console so far, and what kind of potential the joy-cons have in the future for gaming. Kind of a short and fun little video from the perspective of someone who was very hands-on with the Switch before it slowly made its way into more homes than they probably thought possible. Hopefully, this will be a series with others from the company answering questions.
