"TEPPEN" World Championship Updates Their Points System & More

This week, GungHo Entertainment Online released new details of changes they've made to the 2020 TEPPEN World Championship. The company released a new set of guidelines involving Tour Points, which will be used to determine rankings and standings for players. These will determine whether or not you manage to make it into certain tournaments down the road, and if you do, exactly where you'll start from.

There will also be online regional tournaments divided up into four areas: North America, Europe, APAC, and Japan. The top three from each region will qualify for the TEPPEN World Championship, which will be set for a later date they didn't announce. There will also be offline tournaments that will snag one winner from each region, bringing the total at the end of it all to 16 competitors.
