Two Years Since Release, "Kholat" Finally Comes To Xbox One
Kind of an oddity, but we're glad to see it finally happening. One of the best indie games of 2015 was IMGN.PRO's Kholat, an exploration horror game based on true events that happened 58 years ago in Russia. But the game only saw a PS4 and PC release at the time, with no proper port to the Xbox One. That's finally changing. Two years after its initial release, the game will finally be coming to the Xbox on June 9th.
Kholat is one of the few games I've played over the past few years that actually gave me chills. Sure, it was done up like you would expect many in the genre to be, but it was fascinating to see what IMGN.PRO decided to do with real-life events and how they would portray them in a game. It is kind of odd that an Xbox version wasn't available until now, considering that a lot of indie games can port easily from PC; but better late than never, I guess. Pre-orders will begin on June 2nd, and for now, here's the teaser trailer:
