The New Battlefield Will Be Announced Next Week
Battlefield has been the source of a lot of speculation of late. The most prevalent is that the franchise is going back in time, which will be a good counterpoint to Call of Duty's rumoured Infinite Warfare that could be going to the far future.
Well, we will know next week. The game is getting announced on May 6th at a premiere event. There isn't much officially said about the game, at least in term of setting, so we will have to wait on that front.
The time time does feel right to head back in time, especially with CoD going a different way. I like the idea of them both being distinct. We'll find out next week exactly what is up.
