VR Capabillity For Project Scorpio Removed From Website
Microsoft have held somewhat firm on not yet embracing VR. However, they left the door open to the tech when they announced Project Scorpio. While no device or partnership (which many believe would be with Oculus) has been announced, it was said that the console would be 'ready' for the tech if one such time came by.
However, a rather bizarre development has emerged on this front. As pointed out by NeoGAF (via GameSpot), references to VR capabilities have been removed from the Project Scorpio website. It's unclear why, but there could be a lot of reasons. It could be clean up just because no device is announced for the console, or perhaps Xbox have reconsidered their stance on VR.
However, as pure conjecture, perhaps Oculus' rather public problems in the last few months has caused Xbox to reconsider a partnership, which many expected to see.
I suppose only time will hint at what is going on here.
