'Wrath and Rapture' Teaser from Games Workshop
Warhammer players who field Daemons get the best of both worlds; daemon armies can be fielded in both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. The Warhammer Community site just posted images for the upcoming Realm of Chaos: Wrath and Rapture boxed set from Games Workshop, which is up for pre-order now!
Wrath and Rapture is a new battlebox that pits the forces of Khorne against the hosts of Slaanesh in brutal interdimensional combat. Compatible with both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, it's a must-have for all fans of the Ruinous Powers.
The new boxed set will have four totally new kits included, with new sprue frames for Fiends of Slaanesh, as well as all new Flesh Hounds of Khorne. These models look absolutely vicious, and should be a lot of fun to assemble and paint!
These new kits are exclusive to the Realm of Chaos: Wrath and Rapture boxed set and will be joined by two new character models: Karanak, the Hound of Vengeance, and the Infernal Enrapturess. Karanak looks particularly brutal, with three gigantic, foe shredding sets of meat-shredding teeth!
The Infernal Enrapturess is the very dedicate harpist on the left; the Hellraiser vibes pouring off of this model pretty much sum up everything there is to say about Slaanesh!
The Realm of Chaos: Wrath and Rapture boxed set is available for pre-order now, either directly from Games Workshop, or from your local game retail shop. Considering how quick GW is at getting a new product on the shelves lately, I would expect to see these vicious little deamons on shelves within the next few weeks.
With Chapter Approved books hitting game tables shortly, (Sisters of Battle! HUZZAH!) it looks like the Warhammer gaming universe is about to have another great year ahead of it. What are you most excited to see? Let us know in the comments section below!
