Bethesda's Dev Doesn't Care If You Think Fallout 4's Graphics Are Bad
When Fallout 4 launched on Wednesday, it was clear that the game had found a new colour pallet. Gone was the brown and grey look of 3 and in was a vibrant and diverse looking world. However, there were some complaints that the game's animations and graphical fidelity had underwhelmed. I even shared a few, even if I don't think it is important in the long run.
However, Bethesda VP of PR Pete Hines took to Twitter to address those people directly. In two tweets to fans he said quite clearly:
@NVaun i'm not spending any time or energy caring what they think

@alexxmoose @NVaun game looks amazing. i dunno what they're looking at.

That is pretty definitive. I think Bethesda are very confident in their new game and that is how I read this. Some might see it as over dismissive, especially as I can see those concerns, but graphics don't make the game pop. Its art direction will. I can't wait to see what the game looks like in our fuller view at next Sunday's E3 presser.
