Code Black Gets Late Renewal From CBS

CBS likes to do last minute saves on their medical drama Code Black. For a second year in a row the series got a last-minute renewal. The Michael Seitzman created series added Rob Lowe to the cast in it's sophomore run and averaged 9.2 million viewers in Live +7 ratings, which was consistent with its first season numbers. The show is a co-production between ABC Studios and CBS TV Studios.
