WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore Suspended Pending Sexual Assault Investigation

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has been accused of sexual assault. Also accused of being complicit in the assault are Tyler Grosso, founder of the clothing line Superrradical, and Instagram star Too Poor.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, first made the accusation on Twitter on January 20th, quoting a tweet by Grosso and writing, "You set up girls to get raped by your WWE friends aka [Enzo Amore]."

She followed that up with more details Monday, tweeting some images containing a description of the sexual assault and writing, "OKAY..it's been long enough & I have been so so scared to share this. I was raped in mid October by the WWE Enzo Amore (also known as Eric Arden) & Tyler Grosso & TOOPOOR let it happen as accomplices. I was in a mental hospital for 45 days after it. They ARE NOT good people."

The woman alleged that Grosso and TOOPOOR invited her to a hotel room where they "got me way @#$%ed up & they left knowing what was about to happen." She says Amore tried to initiate sex while she was passed out, and when she objected, he "restrained me & it happened. She says that she suffers from PTSD as a result of the alleged assault, which is said to have occurred on October 18th.

Amore was set to defend his championship at the Royal Rumble on Sunday, January 28th, and was likely scheduled to be featured on last night's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw and Tuesday's WWE 205 Live before then. However, WWE announced:

Additionally, Pro Wrestling Sheet confirmed with the Phoenix Police Department that an investigation is underway.
