Far Cry Team Are Matching Donations For Nepal Earthquake Relief

Far Cry 4 let you explore the fictional Kyrat, a place full of culture and colour.  While not an actual country, it's no secret that the nation was heavily inspired by Nepal.

In case you didn't hear, Nepal fell victim to a 7.8 magnitude earthquake earlier this week causing havoc to the landscape and its people. Thousands have died and many more are injured. This isn't the kind of place you'd expect to see talk about video games, but this medium constantly surprises me with its charitable disposition.

The team behind Far Cry 4 have come together to make sure donations go further in relief for the disaster. They've promised to match every donation made to the Canadian Red Cross up to the first $100,000. That money will go a long way.

I'm going to try and donate later tonight. I encourage you to consider doing the same.
