The Game Awards 2015 Are Already Being Worked On
The Game Awards last year were a great start. I often talk about my admiration for great award ceremonies, especially within video games, so Geoff Keighley's new adventure was particularly pleasing. It obviously wasn't perfect what with excessive adverts and near three hour run time being a pretty big hurdle. Regardless though, it's a solid base and a million miles better than VGX in 2013.
That's why I'm pleased that another show appears to be coming at the end of 2015. During a panel at PAX South, Keighley announced that the next award show is in the works. He later confirmed on his personal Twitter account that planning for the ceremony is in progress for the end of this year.
As I announced this morning at PAX, I'm excited to already be working on @thegameawards for 2015. Will share more later this Spring.

This was to be expected, but still, it's good to have confirmation. It would have been a shame to just let the show fall by the wayside after such a promising start.
