Gotham Gets A Third Season Nod From Fox
The folks in Gotham got good news today. According to Variety, Fox has renewed the Batman themed series for a third season.
"It takes a very special team to tell the tales of 'Gotham.'" David Madden, entertainment president, Fox Broadcasting, said in a statement. "For the past two seasons, Bruno, Danny and John have masterfully honored the mythology of 'Gotham' and brought it to life with depth, emotion and memorable high drama. This incredibly talented cast has redefined these iconic characters for a new generation, and we couldn't be more proud of this show."
This is the fifth DC/Vertigo series to get renewed this season with the CW already renewing The Flash, Arrow, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and iZombie. We know that CBS plans to renew Supergirl but it hasn't been made official.
