Guillermo Del Toro's 'The Shape Of Water' Gets Official Trailer
Director Guillermo del Toro's newest film, The Shape of Water, has an official trailer. The film stars Michael Shannon, Michael Stuhlbarg, Octavia Spencer and of course Doug Jones. The film is coming out from Fox Searchlight and was written by del Toro and Vanessa Taylor.
I think we can tell from the still shot below who Jones is playing. Jones has appeared in The Strain, both Hellboy movies and Pan's Labyrinth among many other roles.
The official synopsis reads:
"An other-worldly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa's life is changed forver when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment."
The Shape of Water swims into theaters December 8th.
