John Constantine Confirmed For 2 Episodes Of Legends Of Tomorrow
There was talk a month or so back that Legends of Tomorrow wanted to get Matt Ryan to reprise his role as John Constantine this season. Over the weekend, along with the release of the first look at the Constantine animated series, executive producer Phil Klemmer let slip that Ryan would indeed be appearing on the show this season. And now we know exactly when and how long.
Ryan will appear in two episodes, numbers 9 and 10, which will include Constantine performing an exorcism.
Counting the DC animated movie and the upcoming animated series, this will be the fifth different place Ryan has portrayed the character. Starting off on the short-lived NBC series he then was brought into the Arrowverse for an episode of Arrow where he met Oliver (Stephen Amell) on Lian Yu and in modern day helped resurrect Sara Lance (Caity Lotz). Outside of the Arrowverse, he voiced Constantine in the Justice League Dark animated film with Jason O'Mara as Batman.
They just need to get him on The Flash and Supergirl… maybe Black Lightning… make a trip over to see Lucifer… he definitely needs to appear on Lucifer.
DC's Legends of Tomorrow returns October 11th at 9 PM after the season premiere of the Flash.
