Accompanying this Justice League film poster is a series of individual posters for the members of the League. For the observant comic book fan, one might notice that this poster, very smartly, is drawing upon the style of one of legendary artist Alex Ross's many posters for the Justice League team.

Notably, Superman, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter are absent from the film poster.

I just want to say how bothered I am that there has been no discussion or indication that J'onn J'onnz, one of the original Leaguers and a beloved character has not been discussed by the hype machine around this movie or any of the other upcoming films for the DCEU. Of course, if you want to read a current story about the Martian Manhunter, you have to go to a freaking Looney Tunes crossover with freaking Marvin the Martian.

Anyway, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck's Batman, Ray Fisher's Cyborg, and Ezra Miller's the Flash have each been given their own individual character poster.

As skeptical as I am about this movie, and as confusing and panicked as DC's future plans for their movies really seem, these posters do look really freaking cool. The Flash's costume is painfully overdesigned, though. I don't know why there are wires all over the abdomen. I also vastly prefer the orange-and-green on Aquaman as opposed to the pseudo-'90s look they have going on for Momoa. It doesn't look bad, but I love the orange fish scales.

Still, I do think the posters look pretty damn cool.

The film is due to be released on November 17th of this year, so we'll see how everything turns out. Hopefully it will be more Wonder Woman than Dawn of Justice or Suicide Squad. DC fans deserve a great Justice League film.
