Looking Back At The Jack Reacher Film Before The Sequel

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back comes out on October 21st, it's the sequel to the 2012 film with Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike and Jai Courtney. It's based on the novels by Lee Childs and in my opinion, it was a good movie. But fans of the character of Jack Reacher reacted poorly to Cruise's casting, stating that in the novels Reach is described as 6'5" and the actor is only 5'7". And of course there is the negative baggage that surrounds Cruise now.

I am looking forward to the sequel that also gives a larger role to Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) and brings in Aldis Hodge (Leverage).

This morning I came across this video from a Youtube channel called Cinema Wins… as opposed to CInema Sins who do Everything Wrong With… videos. Here they talk about Everything Great About... and they bring up some very good points and obviously listened to the commentary track on the Blu ray… I know because I've done that and they bring up things from there.

If you've seen the original film and want a basic highlight reel or if you just like a different look at a film, you should watch this. Or you could just watch the film… it is good.
