Mortal Kombat X Retro Style Custom Controller Revealed
Fighting games are a pretty serious business when it comes competitive play. Street Fighter 2 still holds massive sway in the scene, with players finding new ways to gain an advantage and punch the beejesus out of their opponents.
If Mortal Kombat is more your pace though, here might be just the thing to get a leg up on your buddies. The franchise is seeing its return later this year with Mortal Kombat X and to prepare accessory maestros PDP are going to be offering this new controller specifically designed to benefit players of the game.
CNET posted this video showing off the controller, which does away with analog sticks and triggers. Yep, it's just a D-pad controller, the preferred fighting game method. It also replaces the triggers with two more buttons on the front, mimicking older arcade machines. It's got that iconic Mortal Kombat dragon as a decal on the controller too, so that is pretty cool.

This thing looks like it belong in the 90s, but that gives it a pretty neat little charm too, I think.
