[Rumor] Is 'Shatterhand' Possible Title for 'Bond 25'?

While fans of 007 have to sit tight after the date push for Bond 25, how about some not-so-mindless speculation on the possible title?

[Rumor] Is 'Shatterhand' Possible Title for 'Bond 25'?

According to Production Weekly, the official working title for the Cary Joji Fukunaga-directed film is believed to be Shatterhand, which will have meaning for fans of the Bond source material novels by Ian Fleming.

In the twelfth Bond novel "You Only Live Twice", Dr. Guntram Shatterhand is the alias used by Ernst Stavro Blofeld, perhaps the most infamous of all the MI6 agent's nemeses.

This possible working title could signal the return of Christoph Waltz as Blofeld, the character he played in Spectre, even though the actor said he was NOT coming back for Bond 25. The return of Léa Seydoux for Bond 25 also semi-signals that maybe some of those story threads from the 24th film in the franchise will appear in the next installment.

Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, and Ben Whishaw  are all confirmed to return along side Daniel Craig, who will reportedly be retiring from the role following this outing.

It was announced earlier this month that due to rewrites, the film has been pushed back from the original release date of February 14th, 2020 to April 8th, 2020.

We'll let you know what else we hear about the film.
