Sony's Silver Sable and Black Cat Movie Gets New Screenwriters

Sony's hopefully-not-permanently-titled Silver and Black, the Spider-Man spinoff about Silver Sable and The Black Cat, has picked up two new screenwriters. According to a report from THR, Lindsey Beer, who wrote Chaos Walking, and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, who wrote Captain Marvel, are penning a new draft of the movie.

The most recent script for Silver and Black was written by director Gina Prince-Bythewood, who also wrote and directed The Secret Life of Bees. My god.

Chris Yost and Lisa Joy have also taken cracks at this one in the past. The move is scheduled to hit theaters in February, 2019.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
