Stan Lee Narrated The Defenders Promo Includes The Punisher

Just how big is Stan Lee in Korea? Netflix has released a new promo for The Defenders that includes narration and appearance by Stan Lee, but the promo has been released in Korea so far.  The Defenders is the culmination of the original Marvel / Netflix deal that introduced the world to Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). Those four series (2 seasons for Daredevil) have lead into the Defenders where the street-level heroes will take on an unnamed villain played by Sigourney Weaver.

The DefendersThis may be one of the biggest Stan Lee's appearances lasting for the whole minute long trailer:

They're the greatest stories ever told. Heroes show us we don't need to be perfect to do what's right.It's not about living without fear, but facing injustice. It's not about being powerful, but finding your calling. When you least expect it, they show us it's ok to be vulnerable… no matter how tough you are. Because, even though they're heroes, they're still human.

And like with all Marvel productions, stay through the ending to see the Punisher (Jon Bernthal) who is going to get his own series soon.

The Defenders debuts August 18th on Netflix.
