Dan DiDio, co-Publisher of DC Comics, has been laying out the schedules for the three announced weekly titles so far, on Facebook. Unlike 52 and Countdown

As Bleeding Cool told you back in January, DC Comics are publishing a new weekly series set in the alternative universe of Earth 2 And back last June, we told you that a planned Earth 2 second series with the then-Earth 2 writer James Robinson, was enough to make Robinson walk off the book.
Now, Earth[...]
But with The Movement heading to cancellation in April, where else in the New 52 will we find out Occupy commentary? Well, how about Earth 2, with a very naughty Superman?
I think we get an idea of writer Tom Taylor's politics there, don't you?
Evil Empire #1 finally gives us something that news networks can't cut[...]
So, yesterday at the ComicsPRO retailer event in Atlanta, Georgia, DC Comics announced their third weekly title, but wouldn't say what it was.
Well we have the Batman Eternal weekly, we have the Five Years Later/Future's End Weekly…
A month ago, we ran the rumour that DC were prepping an Earth 2 Weekly.
We have also previously run[...]
Last week we noted how Earth 2 Annual #2 changed the name of the bad guy from Francesco Francavilla, the same name as the comics artist, to that of Falcone.
In this weeks Earth 2 #20 , we meet the character Red Arrow who James Robinson said would be named Roy McQueen.
Instead he was revealed as being[...]
And I've played it at Ben Cliff's fifth birthday party, so that's saying something!
And with Loki already sounding like Kieron Gillen Loki, could sudden musical references be spreading? We had The Cure from Jonathan Hickman in last week's Avengers, now check out Tom Taylor in Earth 2.
With the new Secret Avengers looking like it is[...]
Next week's Bleeding Cool Magazine has a lot to say about weekly comics, with DC launching both a Batman Eternal weekly comic as well as the Five Years Later-set Future's End weekly comic.
But they are not alone.
We knew that we were getting a new Earth 2 title to accompany the current monthly Well, we're now[...]
This is from the printed version of Earth 2 Annual #2, published yesterday.
And this is from the digital version, though I understand it has now been amended to match the print version…
At one point, it appears that a certain character was named after artist Francesco Francavilla, but then amended to Falcone.
Shame, Frankie would[...]
Who is there to hear the witty repartee?
Super Dinosaur can be super annoying, talking when you're trying to, I don't know, play Candy Crush or something.
And, from Earth 2 Annual #1, some people just shouldn't say anything at all But there seems to be a spate of people not saying things right now.
Batman And Robin[...]
So we all know that Batman can't sit, even if there is plenty of evidence to the contrary. But can he have a cup of tea? One would hope so, and Terry is
Just in case you weren't spoiled the last time they tried to spoil it, here's the listing from today's Diamond Previews...
As subterfuge? To present a human face to mass destruction? Ego? Or maybe just so Superman won't just keep going through you?
Oh Lois, what are you, a sitcom character? That's the kind of mishap you'd expect from Friends rather than an award winning journalist-turned superpowered freak of nature on Earth 2…
Talking of sitcoms… Doc[...]
And just as that led to the battle between Earth 3 and the New 52, so Summer 2014 will see the war extend to… Earth 2.
And… the New 52 Earth? Another Earth? How many Earths can go into battle with each other? Did someone mention Earth Prime even?
Five Years Later kicks off in September[...]
Okay, we're going to take a punt here.

USA Today has run a preview of this week's Earth-2 and an interview with writer Tom Taylor. On which we get a very new look - and identity - for a certain Lois Lane
These figures looked pretty nice, and they will have more articulation then we are used to seeing from DC Collectibles, which is a nice surprise.
The big reveal during this part of the panel was the Earth 2 figures They showed off Wonder Woman, Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, and a nice looking Earth 2 Batman These[...]
Ha, you are planetless.
Steppenwolf also seems to be doing a little planet-threatening in Earth 2, but more in a subjugation fashion And he's doing rather well it seems It's a different story in Mighty Avengers.
There's a bit like this in Civil War Also in Secret Invasion I think And the Avengers movie But the[...]
We reported that James Robinson had walked off the rather successful Earth 2 series, and included the rumour that it was over DC's plans to launch a second Earth 2 title not written by him.
This morning DC Comics told MTV Geek that Tom Taylor, who has also seen insane success with Injustice Gods Among Us,[...]
@fotocub @dccomics Thanks, Matt. It's enthusiasm like yours that makes me sad I won't get to bring all my plans to fruition.

James Robinson talking about Earth 2 there Since Robinson announced he was leaving the book, there has been some speculation, but mostly silence, about why he left.
I heard over the[...]
James Robinson recently announced he was leaving Earth 2 at DC Comics, despite there being plans to expand Earth 2 into a second book.
The other day, James Robinson tweeted and then deleted the following;
It may have been something sent as a private message, tweeted publicly by mistake Which is something that rather reminds me of[...]
MIND READING I do like it, as with Epic Kill, when the character says basically what I've been thinking for the last five pages. It suddenly feels
I do hope he keeps the wings once the Big Red (or Green) Reset Button is pressed.
We get a new member of the Justice Society in Earth 2… or is it a new Black King?
Yes, as some have noted, this is a rather out of date observation about comic book stores, as they now get[...]
From today's Earth 2 #8, published today, and yes, set spoilers to stun It looks like before her defeat and death at the hands of Darkseid, Wonder Woman may have left a certain somthing – or indeed someone, behind…
… how long until the inevitable Mother Vs Dimensionally Displaced Daughter match?
And it's always handy to have[...]
It's not all bad news at Amazon though.
The DC New 52 hardcovers are usually around $25, often knocked down to around $16 on Amazon.
But for some reason, the current listing for the Earth 2 hardcover is $14.99, reduced to $8.99 A ridiculously low price, it's clearly an error of some sorts And, if true, will[...]
Based on Rich's post today, it sounds like Earth 2 #3 gives us an interesting take on the origin of Alan Scott as Green Lantern Extensively debated in the forum, it does make me want to go pick up the series so far to see precisely what's going on.
Most-Read Comic Stories Today:
Illyana Is A Bit[...]
Mild spoilers for Earth 2 #3 published today from DC Comics.
Okay, so in this month's issue of Earth 2, Alan Scott gets hit with quite a lot of information First his new green buddy confirms that his about-to-be-fiancee was bullet trained, and did nothing about it Downer.
Then we discover the Green Lantern energy, rather than[...]
Also, find out Batmom's maiden name! It's not Kane!
Earth 2 #3 continues the world building and while Green is the new Gay, his name is still Alan and not Alac, right? Fighting the rot on Earth 52 is Buddy Baker in Animal Man #11 I love this book and it's cool to see Cliff get[...]
Official: It won't be news to any readers of Bleeding Cool who originally broke this story (a number of times), but today DC Comics let news organisations run the news that Alan Scott, the original Green Lantern, was to be reinvented as a gay man for the Earth 2 series The issue in question ships[...]
And right now Earth 2 #2 is on "backorder/out of stock" through Diamond Comic Distributors while one copy of the book has just sold on eBay for $6….
With the revelation that Iron Patriot is, in some form, to appear in Iron Man 3, there suddenly appears to be a rush on the character's first[...]
James Robinson is the writer of the Earth 2 comic book, part of DC's New 52 Second Wave Issue 1 featured a new Alan Scott, originally the first Green Lantern, who it is rumoured (and reported by Bleeding Cool) will be revealed as a gay man in issue 2.
Chris Roberson is a writer who was[...]
