Less than a day after Regé-Jean Page (Bridgerton) took to Twitter shortly after a claim went public that DC Entertainment executive Geoff Johns had killed the possibility of Page playing Superman's grandfather on the SYFY prequel series Krypton because he's Black, the star of the since-canceled SYFY series has posted his thoughts[...]
But at one point in the report when other non-Justice League allegations within WarnerMedia were being addressed, there was a claim that DC Entertainment executive Geoff Johns had killed the possibility of Page playing Superman's grandfather on the SYFY prequel series Krypton because he's Black.

Complicating the already daunting job of raising two boys, Clark and Lois must also concern themselves with whether or not their sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsass, "Little Fires Everywhere") and Jordan (Alexander Garfin, "The Peanuts Movie") could inherit their father's Kryptonian superpowers as they grow older.

What makes obscure comics so interesting and vital is discovering those books that most don't know were ever printed, or that top tier creators worked on "that book" or on "that character." Obscure Comics are fun to find and interesting to know about, but that border between great reads and terrible comics.
Television, Superman, David Goyer,[...]
While The CW's newest addition to its Arrowverse may be continuing with production, it will be doing so without writer Nadria Tucker (Krypton, Underground)- and she wants everyone to know why she was let go from the writing room for the Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch-starring series Superman & Lois Over the course of a[...]
Today he hired Eliza Scanlen (Little Women), Thomasin McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit), Aaron Pierre (Krypton), Alex Wolff (Hereditary), and Vicky Krieps (Phantom Thread) in roles for the mystery project Shyamalan will, of course, write, produce, and direct the film, and Universal Pictures will release it That is all that anyone knows at this point, and with the shutdowns still[...]
Superman prequel-series-with-a-time-travel-twist Krypton unleashed its sophomore season last month – and now its final season (at least for now) SYFY confirmed last week that the series would not be returning for a third season – and with that, the planned Lobo spinoff series starring Emmett J Scanlan would no longer be moving forward, either Warner[...]
Superman prequel-series-with-a-time-travel-twist Krypton unleashed its sophomore season last month – and now it looks like it will be the next victim of the dreaded "Sophomore Slump." SYFY confirmed on Friday that the series would not be returning for a third season – and with that, the planned Lobo spinoff series starring Emmett J Scanlan is[...]
When things shift into a higher gear on Krypton, they tend to skip the mid-gears altogether "Zods and Monsters" not only dives into the back story of one of the biggest villains in Superman lore, it also introduces one of the major players in Kal-El's history, and he's been right in front of us all[...]
Season 2 of Krypton may have started out a little slow, but the intensity of the conflict between the House of El and the House of Zod has been building up to a fever pitch over the last few episodes, with Val El (Ian McElhinney) taking over the resistance on the Kryptonian moon of Wegthor[...]
CW "Supergirl" star Melissa Benoist is set to tackle an entirely new adventure when the fifth season begins in October: directing an episode of the series.
"A Better Yesterday" opens on a much grimmer note than your average episode of Krypton: the rebellion on Wegthor has been crushed, with Zod's Sagitari troops successfully cutting off oxygen supplies to the resistance Rage and sorrow compete for equal time on Jax-Ur's (Hannah Waddingham) face as she scans the field of corpses before her.

It's a cute meeting, with Seg stumble-swaggering his way through the encounter, and accidentally binding himself to Lyta in an ancient ritual on Krypton It's funny seeing Cuffe clean shaven after having him sport a full beard lately.

It looks like Seg might still have remnants of Brainiac (Blake Ritson) in his head, since the[...]
Here's a quick recap of Krypton to get us all up to speed: Seg (Cameron Cuffe) and Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos) might have managed to successfully escape from Lobo (Emmett J Scanlan) and Brainiac (Blake Ritson), but they find themselves in a Kandor that has been completely transformed under the tyranical rule of General Zod[...]
Krypton's take on Brainiac is fantastically creepy, with some amazing make-up working and acting from Ritson Brainiac is one of those characters that has to be played pretty subtly to work, and it works really well here.
Nyssa Vex (Wallis Day) has fed false intel to the rebels on Wegthor at Zod's behest, and the moment[...]
He was fantastic on Game of Thrones, and he's great on Krypton.
Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos) and Seg El (Cameron Cuffe) are chained to a tree, having been captured by the Main Man himself Lobo (Emmett J Scanlan) is having fun picking out weapons to kill his captives with I'm really digging Scanlan as Lobo, and[...]
The second season of Krypton was off to a pretty slow start, so here's hoping that the second episode, "Ghost in the Fire" builds a little momentum.

It's not that I'm an all-action, all the time kind of guy I just want my science fiction shows to have a little more oomph than your standard[...]
This review of the second season premiere of Krypton is a few days late I could blame scheduling issues, or perhaps Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos) zapped me with his Zeta Beam and I disappeared for the better part of the week.

SYFY's Superman-prequel-series-with-a-time-twist Krypton returned for a second season this week, and one thing has become pretty clear: it bears surprising similarities to the British soap opera Hollyoaks.

Today's DC Comics titles contain a comic book prelude to the new season of Krypton on Syfy, starting in a week's time, with 'Light-Years From Home' In the cliffhanger for season 1 last year, at the Fortress of Solitude, Seg-El trapped Brainiac in the Phantom Zone, but Brainiac pulls Seg in with him at the[...]
