AEW Dynamite Preview: Another Year of Disrespecting WWE

AEW ends 2023 with an AEW Dynamite meant to irk The Chadster! 😡 Would Tony Khan do it any other way? Tune out for WWE loyalty! 🚫🤼

Auughh man! So unfair! 🤬 As if AEW couldn't get enough of ruining The Chadster's entire year, they just have to end 2023 with a *bang*, don't they? And of course, they've got a jam-packed AEW Dynamite tonight, painstakingly crafted just to cheese The Chadster off – and just before the New Year too! 😤

Let's talk about this Continental Classic League Finals thing they got going. It's just one more way AEW is so disrespectful to the wrestling business and everything WWE has done for it. Gold League, Blue League – come on, are they selecting wrestling matches or decorating a nursery? 🙄

In the Gold League Finals, you've got Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, and "Switchblade" Jay White in a three-way dance that just screams chaos. Can it get any less organized? 😒 WWE would at least have the dignity to let things unfold in a more civilized manner. But no, AEW has to make it "interesting" with their over-the-top match setups. Not to mention, every time Moxley steps into the ring, The Chadster can't help but feel like he's literally stabbing Vince McMahon right in the back with those barbed-wire covered schticks of his. 🗡️

Then, in the Blue League, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson is facing off against ROH World Champion and NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Eddie Kingston. Danielson calls Eddie a "bum," but honestly, who's the real bum here? 😏 It's AEW for trying to imbue this match with some false sense of valor, a struggle for respect – it's just too dang forced, and The Chadster remembers when Danielson was in WWE, elevating the business, not bringing it down like he is now with this AEW drama.

And can The Chadster even start with this ROH World Tag Team Championship match? MJF and his, uh… "substitute" partner for Adam ColeSamoa Joe – are facing off against, get this, "????????" 🤷🎭 The question marks are literal, pals, because AEW thinks it's clever to have this so-called "Devil" lurking while The Chadster seethes at the lack of respect for a traditional, proper card announcement. And it's obviously all about Tony Khan's vendetta against The Chadster, trying to mess with his head. No way anyone is buying this storyline – the only real devil here is the one that convinces viewers to watch this tomfoolery.

Don't even get The Chadster started on the women's segment with Mariah May and Renee Paquette. Too little, too late, AEW – The Chadster has basically given up hope that AEW will ever treat its women's division with the respect it deserves. Meanwhile, Kris Statlander and Skye Blue – who were once allies – are set to tear into each other thanks to subpar storytelling and mysterious mist sprays. Puh-lease 😒.

BUT, friends, The Chadster has a New Year's resolution, and it's to continue to provide the most objective, unbiased viewpoint on this mess of a wrestling promotion. The Chadster will be your beacon of truth, shining on the WWE awesomeness while calling out AEW's shenanigans! And The Chadster challenges you to take a stance this New Year's – show your loyalty to the top-tier WWE and skip AEW's so-called 'big celebration' tonight at 8E/7C on TBS. Let's show them what real wrestling fans are all about. 🙌🏽

So stay staunch, friends, and remember, WWE is the real pinnacle of professional wrestling and don't you forget it. Instead of watching AEW Dynamite tonight, crack open a White Claw seltzer and think about all the ways WWE made wrestling great over the last year. Cheers! 🍺.
