Justice League Reshoots Continue To Cause Problems – So Does Henry Cavill's Mustache

The cast and crew of Warner Bros.' upcoming Justice League film continue to dismiss the rumors of reshoot chaos after director Zack Snyder's departure, but some of the talk can't be ignored.

If you are unaware, Snyder exited the film, and Joss Whedon stepped in to complete the project. The film was four weeks away from finishing production, if reports can be believed, so pretty much finished from the pre-scheduled shooting side of things. However, as oftentimes happens when a new director comes on board, some things needed to change.

Variety goes so far as to claim Warner Bros. is spending upwards of $25 million for these reshoots, which (as far as we can tell) include the main members of the League as well as the last son of Krypton, who is still "dead", according to the trailers. These reshoots have also apparently been going on for at least two months, which starts to venture into the territory of just plain shooting the film rather than reshooting a couple scenes.

Scheduling problems are arising with cast members Erza Miller (The Flash), who is reprising his role from Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them in the film's sequel, which started filming earlier this summer.

This has also been problematic for Henry Cavill (Superman), as he's been jumping back and forth between Justice League reshoots and filming for Mission Impossible 6.  Cavill has grown a pretty fabulous mustache for his MI6 character, and having to become Superman again while sportin' the facial hair has caused some problems — reportedly, the mustache will be CGI-magic removed for the Justice League pickup scenes.

Variety went on to say that according to their sources, Whedon is using the reshoots to "punch up the dialogue," as well as working on "connective tissue" that was needed to link sequences — something that's long been rumored to be an issue.

Hopefully we'll be rewarded with an enjoyable superhero team-up when Justice League hits theaters on November 17th.
