New LEGO Star Destroyer Has Us Wanting to Join the Empire

LEGO is bringing us another collector set to compete with the 2017 $799 Millennium Falcon. This could be purchased for your kid, but these are mainly directed to the adult collector market. This highly detailed LEGO Star Destroyer has over 4,700 pieces. This Star Destroyer is the same one that appeared in the opening scene of Star Wars: A New Hope. Some of the little details that you can build are the tilting radar dish, huge engine exhausts, swivel guns, and it features remarkable exterior detailing of the ship. One of the coolest parts is that we get a buildable scale version of the Rebels' Tantive IV that can be loaded into the LEGO Star Destroyer. The same starship we see at the opening chase scene of Star Wars carrying Princess Leia. Two mini-figures are included in the set; an Imperial Officer and an Imperial Crew member. This is a collector's piece that any Star Wars or LEGO fan would love.
