SDCC 2019: 80+ Pics From the Hot Toys Display on the Show Floor

Hot Toys certainly has one of the more popular areas in the Sideshow Collectibles pavilion, and with good reason. The company has never been more popular, been making more quality stuff, or had more quality products on display at one time than this year. Every single SDCC, one of the main questions I ask myself is "What will Hot Toys do to outdo themselves?". This year, it was bringing an unpresedented amount of figures across all licenses, both old and new.

Starting with their bigger scale, Anakin's A-Wing was a sight to behold, as were the Infinity Gauntlets and other 1/4 scale figures form both the Star Wars and Marvel lines.

From there, the Marvel side of things was where Hot Toys really shined. Featuring new figures from Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man The Game, Avengers: Endgame and just general Marvel-ness, the booth came alive in these cases. The standouts to me were the new Battle Damaged Iron Man, the Iron Spider, the New Drax and Gamora, and the centerpiece, Venompool.

Over on the Star Wars side, I must have the Gonk droid asap, the Kit Fisto looked incredible, as does the new Wicket figure. The Rise of Skywalker Sith Trooper also looks…interesting. I am still processing the look of that one.

DC was represented in the cases by a Batman Forever Robin, a Dark Knight Joker, Flash, and Aquaman. See kids: they make DC toys!

Finally: Alita, John Wick, Hellboy, and finally a Pennywise figure that looks too good to be true rounding it all out. I personally am hoping that this means even more horror icons are coming soon, there are so many horror Hot Toys figures I want made.
