Star Wars Celebration Chicago Hasbro Reveals!

Habro held their Star Wars Celebration panel yesterday afternoon, where they revealed their summer slate of Black Series, Vintage Collection, and exclusives that collectors will be gobbling up until The Rise of Skywalker toys hit in the fall. Some really great stuff was shown, and they have now sent over official images of all of it, so let's dive into what was shown!

First up, new Star Wars Vintage Collection 3.75 inch figures. A new R2-D2 that features the original image from the Kenner figure of old on the cardback, the Imperial Attack Tank Trooper from Rogue One, Luke Skywalker from Crait in The Last Jedi, and a new version of the Imperial Gunner from Rogue One will hit stores this summer.

Star Wars Black Series reveals included the first packaged shots of the next Archive Collection wave, including Darth Maul, Yoda, the Biker Scout, and Anakin Skywalker, all now featuring updated sculpting using Hasbro's face scan tech. Also shown were the first packaged shots of the summer wave of Black Series proper, which includes Episode 1 Obi-Wan, Ezra and Chopper from Star Wars Rebels, and Doctor Aphra with her droid companions Bee-Tee and Triple Zero.

This years Star Wars SDCC exclusives will include a test shot prototype style Darth Vader Retro figure, meant to mimic figure prototypes (hence the weird colors), a Retro-style Black Series 6 inch Boba Fett on a throwback card, and a Vintage Collection Luke Skywalker three pack in vintage-style packaging.

And finally, three exclusive Black Series three-packs will be coming to Disney Parks and galaxy's Edge. The first is a hero pack featuring Rey, Chewbacca, and the first Hondo Ohnaka. The second is a villain pack featuring a new Kylo Ren, a Mountain Trooper, Commander Pike from Resistance, and a Mouse Droid! Finally, and the coolest Star Wars reveal of the day, is a droid pack. This will include new, updated versions of BB-8, R2-D@, C-3PO, and most importantly, the figure debut of DJ R3x from Star Tours the ride!

Look for tons more coverage of Star Wars Celebration all weekend log!
