Batman Stamps Make Their Debut At New York Comic Con
The Caped Crusader is finding a new home… in the top corner of envelopes. USA Today has the story that a new set of Batman stamps will be released in honor of the characters 75th anniversary. The Dark Knight joins The Flash, Aquaman, Superman and Wonder Woman who have all head special edition stamps.
"Batman is the most popular Superhero of all time, and it is an honor to have the U.S. Postal Service feature the Caped Crusader on this new set of stamps in celebration of his 75th anniversary," DC Entertainment co-publisher Jim Lee says. "Batman has inspired and influenced fans around the world for generations and will continue to do so for the next 75 years and beyond."
The new Forever stamps (currently $.49 each) depicts four different eras of Batman through the years. The stamps make their debut October 9th at the New York Comic Con.
